For many years, MDBC has supported
CanCare of Houston as our congregation's ministry to
those facing the challenge of cancer. CanCare trains
cancer survivors and family members to provide
one-on-one, long-term emotional support to cancer
patients and their families. No
one should suffer alone with cancer. CanCare volunteers
know how to face and overcome many of the challenges
presented by cancer. Their message of home, along with
their own testimony of survival, provides strength and
courage to those battling the disease.
