Sunday Bible Study

Discover the relevance of God's Word through coed and
same-sex classes for all age groups, on topics and
issues faced in everyday living. Come early for juice,
coffee and doughnuts at 9am.
Mid-Week Activities
Wednesday 5:30-7:3O pm
An economical meal allows time for casual conversation
with friends and a night out of the kitchen. Reservations
due by Wednesday noon. Children's choir and missions
activities, along with the adult prayer time begin at
6:00pm, youth bible study begins at 7:00pm and adult
choir rehearsal starts at 7:30pm.
Children's Ministries
Trained and caring adults provide newborns and children
through fifth grade a variety of biblically-based
activities every Sunday morning. Mother's Day Out offers
(birth through pre-K) a supportive, Christian
environment (Tuesday/Thursday, 9am until 2pm)
Youth Ministries
Teens help plan and enjoy a balanced program of Bible
study, camps, retreats, sports, "lock-ins", mission
trips and other fun and faith-encouraging events.
College Ministries
College students enjoy a weekly Sunday morning bible
study and planned monthly activities.
Singles Ministries
Singles enjoy a weekly bible study that deals with
everyday issues and planned monthly activities.
Men's Ministries
The Promise Keepers group (Friday at 6:30am) offers
accountability and encouragement for men in their growth
in Christ. Retreats and conferences are also scheduled.
Women's Ministries
The Women's Retreat and women's prayer and share
programs encourage single, career women, stay-at-home
moms and working moms to network in Christ.
CanCare Cancer Ministry
MDBC and individual members support CanCare of Houston.
CanCare trains cancer survivors and family members to
provide one-on-one, long-term emotional support to
cancer patients and their families.
Music Ministries
The Sanctuary Choir performs weekly during the morning
worship services. Extended performances, featuring
various styles of music, are performed at Christmas,
Easter, the Fourth of July and other special occasions.
Handbells, orchestra accompaniment, invited guest
soloists and joint productions with community choirs add
sparkle and depth to the musical experience. |
